I wanted to add charging extenders to my marine battery (Renogy Deep Cycle AGM 12 Volt) and I thought these would be great. However, the male threads are too big. These appear to be great quality, just not right for the application. Caution.

The battery posts are NOT 3/8 x 16. The product is misleading. The bolt and the post are actually M8 and not 3/8″ as adertized. I wasted money on 3/8″ nuts that did not fit (too large).
