This 02 sensor is working great for my 2002 Chevy Silverado on the front passenger side.

I wish I knew how to remove reviews because I need to remove 1 I left for this part. I was given bad information from other Source, that this didn’t fit my truck but it’s exactly what I needed and it fixed my truck. This is a great product, will buy again

  4. Patrick

These worked and fit good. Cleared the codes

It’s an O2 so it works or it doesn’t. I bought two and both working well. Recommended

I bought a set of these (AFS 138) and the AC Delco downstream (AFS 106) oxygen sensors for my old 2001 Tahoe 5.3 liter V8 built in Janesville, Wisconsin. 3 went on really easy but the passenger side upstream sensor was cross threaded from the factory and took forever to remove. I didn’t need a cheater bar or anything, it’s a southern truck and they came off easily (outside of that crossthreaded one) with just an open ended wrench. The new sensors have a different appearance from the original factory ones but they install the same way. The Tahoe runs like new again, a smooth idle, and better acceleration. I haven’t checked mpg yet but I’m sure it’s gone up a bit.

Fixed that check engine light just right. Obviously had an aftermarket one in it that went bad. This one should last

I work on my own cars, and buy my parts from Amazon. I started by buying an inexpensive OBDII code reader from Amazon. If I get a “service engine” light, the code reader tells me what part is not working right on my 2001 Silverado. The code reader plugs into a factory wired socket just below the dash, left of the steering wheel. When I get a “service engine” light, I plug in the code reader, and it gives me a DTC number (Data Trouble Code). I Google the code number online, to find out what is wrong (the code reader comes with a book of codes), and to find links to You Tube to see how to replace the offending part. In this case, the engine ran rough at cold idle, and the code reader told me there was a problem with the left front oxygen sensor. I replaced it, and the engine runs perfectly again. I like the search feature that Amazon has where you enter your car information, and it tells you what part fits your car! And, I have experienced that Amazon prices are less than auto parts stores, and other online sellers. This sensor was genuine ACDelco, and worked perfectly, and I did it for a fraction of the cost of a repair shop! Oh, I also bought the sensor removal tool, a socket with a slot in the side to go around the wires. It is available on Amazon too, and makes the job easy.
