Temprature reads accurate when you first start the truck,once it warms up in the cab it reads higher temp.than what it accuatly is.Moved the sensor multiple times and no where near exhaust or heat related elements.Poor product!!!!!!!

The GlowShift 10 Color Digital Ambient Air Temperature Gauge looks nice and installs easily (mostly). All the hardware is included. Nowhere in the instructions does it mention how to display in Celsius. There is a set of jumpers hidden under a label at the back. Got the gauge to display Celsius through trial and error. I am using the blue lighting to match my other dash lights and it looks good. The GlowShift logo is too big – almost as big as the temperature display.

Checked accuracy with a thermal imager. Was within 1.5 degrees. I use it in my boats engine room to monitor temperature that ranges from 70 to 140. No complaints. And the color changing allows me to find what I can see the best in direct sun, vs shade etc. Or match the other lights I have. So far, so good with this thing.

easy to install and wire in. only thing i don’t like it only reads down to 80 degrees and goes up from there.

It’s only accurate if the truck is off and hasn’t ran for awhile. It’s off 5 to 7+ degrees. Iv mounted the censor in 3 different spots and didn’t matter. My guess is its getting more heat reading from being mounted in dash though the cable or unit itself because it get real hot back there with heater on.
Nice unit but usless if i need to know if there is ice. It’s actually 24° but it shows 31°.
