It is a good handle and camera but be careful about the hook up. It does not work with my truck and had to send it back.

Works great, handle seems fairly sturdy. Sprayed lithium grease on the moving parts. Backup camera is clear and works good for trailers.
Camera is displayed on after market stereo. Not using oem camera wiring.
Good upgrade for my 2012 Toyota Tundra.

Looks like OEM. I have a rimoody tundra stereo. Initially not working and I thought it was the camera but it was the unit. You have to configure your unit’s settings to match the camera. Some of the others leaving bad reviews did not configure their stereo unit properly to work with the camera. Plenty of resources on YouTube you just have to search for them.

The latch mechanism is pretty flimsy. The screen flashes when it’s bright outside and the camera is on. It points down too far in my opinion, can’t really see much. It’s better than nothing I guess, but I would not recommend it.

This is what I hoped for, works well enough and especially for the price. The camera angle is a bit low for back but it’s also great for connecting a trailer, I can see the ball and line it up. Good marriage saver!!

First let me say that it works and the picture is just ok. And the handle is the generic replacement it seems all of these are using. So that’s why it got three stars.
But after that is out of the way, the things that aren’t great.
Camera is angled to steep twords the ground and definitely doesn’t have the wide view advertised. The guidelines are useless because the camera is facing to far down and doesn’t have a wide enough field of view.
Picture definitely isent HD, there is artifacting and a general poor layout. The parking grid is always on because they may put separate wires for it but guess what!!! All of your positives and negatives are spliced together in the connector. So that red trigger wire is also wired into the red power wire, and you negative black wire in the rca cable is wired to the negative power wire….. the 4 pin connector they give you only uses 3 of the pins. And three of the wires.
So if you are splicing the wiring into a pre existing harness the color coding after the connector goes like this
You have the black and red power wires that should be connected to your + and – 12vDC.
And then cut the RCA cable open and there will be three wires. Disregard the black and red wires and connect the yellow wire to your Video +/CV+.
Hope that helps someone from having to waste time figuring it out like I did.

Install was a breeze. Same has the OEM. The lock cylinder transfered easily. My grippe is with the view. You can see fare behind and you can’t see your bumper. At least you can barely see the towing ball. So you can pin a trailer alone. With such a norrow field of view I would have like to see the bumper.

The camera does not work. It waste my time, my money, and the mechanic fee. After installing the camera and the wires we find out that the camera has very bad quality and the image is so blurry that it is not visible.
