Im giving 3 stars because I heard a peculiar sound when starting my Onan 4000. I pulled it and saw the tip of it was quite rusted, and the collar ring was a bit bent up indicating that that it may have seized up a bit. I sprayed with pb to remove the rust, took awhile to get that collar ring to go back in its place, and then sprayed it with silicone to prevent future rusting. I was surprised at this because I use the generator at least 6 times a week. It has about 200 hours on it so far and already Im worried about it breaking like the last one. Something to consider. I wish companies would use corrosion resistant coatings on these parts.
