This may fit some 2005 Chevy Aveos, but it did not fit my daughters 2005 Aveo. The part in the picture is what I needed, but it was not the part that was sent. The one I got was too long, where it contacts the ignition switch was wrong, and the button that holds it in place was off by 90 degrees and too far back. The key wasn’t even the same. I returned it.

Key broke in the cylinder of our car. It was easy to take the old cylinder and replace it with this perfect match part. Works perfect now for way less than the cost to get a blacksmith!

If you know how to replace an ignition switch, need to replace an ignition switch, and this item fits your car, your’e in luck! Item is exactly as described, feels solid, keys fit, switch functions. Not a whole lot you can say in a review for a car part, but figured I would take the time so there is at least some feedback.
