Mike Harris –
I don’t like to go aftermarket for sensors, and this one appears to be genuine. Not sure what the guy did who broke his, because these aren’t supposed to be torqued very tight.

2003 Honda civic coupe
Ok. I purchased an aftermarket sensor for$10 but it was really bad. I decided to go with the OEM and it fixed my problem. My problem was temperature gauge reading low when ac is on and taking about 20 min to barely reach operating temp at idle. I thought it was my thermostat but it was new, so I tried the ECT sensor and the OEM sensor fixed the problem.

Inadequate quality, snapped during torquing to OEM specs. Highly doubt it is true OEM Honda
Rony Rivas –
Part was actually OEM with in contrast with the chinese counterfeits flooding Ebay it’s refreshing to get what you paid for. Swapped it out. Starting issue vanquished immediately. Highly recommend.
