We did a rear Diff service on 2016 F250 SD. We pulled rear cover covered gears and then scraped old gasket off diff and cover. Then applied Motorcraft gasket silicone to cover and reinstalled. I may have used too much so I waited 2 days(way more than needed) to allow a good time before refilling. Refilled no leaks and the next week I pulled my Fifthwheel for a month straight. We traveled over 10,000 miles, out west over the Continental Divide many times. No leaks from the Rear Diff and functioned flawlessly.
