My Park Avenue’s Service Engine Soon (SES) came on and gave the code P0141, which means there is a fault with the post-catalytic converter oxygen sensor. I purchased this one and had my mechanic intstall it, since I was having some work done on the converter itself. It has now been two weeks since it was installed and neither the SES light nor the code have returned. And it was cheaper than the odd-namebrand O2 sensors at the local auto parts stores, too!
NOTE: If you are not sure which part number is the correct one, as the user below notes, Amazon’s part finder is not always right. When I searched for sensors it didn’t even show all of the available parts for my car. What I did is I went directly to ACDelco’s website catalog and entered my car’s information there; the catalog returns a list with the correct part numbers for most parts on your vehicle, and they also cover most makes and models. Then I took the correct part number and bought the part here on Amazon.

Perfect OE sensor fit…error code on my OBD scanner cleared & working fine. I did make the mistake of ordering this downstream sensor when i meant to order upstream (which i reordered) but glad i did as it ended up testing bad. Stick with ACDelco good product.

Use copper antiseize especially on cheap headers

Check Engine Light gone right after installation. Changed both upstream and downstream oxygen sensors (only 2 in this car). The downstream was challenging due its wire connection hidden inside heat shield. However, where there’s a will, there is a way (cut the shield with metal cutting scissors, bend it and made it happen). After all the surgery was done in a non conspicuous area under the car. Great genuine parts, cheaper than “generic”. I understand you must replace the old sensors with new sensors from the same manufacturer and same part number so the on board computer in your vehicle could recognize “the signal as usual”. Thanks so much.

This part fit fine for a 2003 Buick Rendezvous. It did not resolve my problem with a Check Engine code that seems to point in the direction of the catalytic converter, which unfortunately I may need to change. Anyhow, the installation was easy.

Originally tried Bosch sensors on my ’97 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 3800 NA engine and my ’01 Bonneville SSEI 3800 L67 Supercharged engine and both couldn’t pass the smog test and tripped the lights regularly. I yanked the upstream and downstream Bosch units out and installed both ACDelco sensors in the Bonnie and it passed first time. Same with the GT when I changed them. I would recommend using the ACDelco from Amazon instead of the much higher priced Bosch units at the local parts chain stores! Sometimes using the factory parts are the way to go regardless of price but in this case, they cost less and work when the state smog check is due!

You can’t go wrong with GM parts. Always the right fit and work great.
