My daughter bought this vehicle as pre-owned from a local Toyota dealer. Shortly after purchase, vehicle started throwing error codes related to catalytic converter’s performance. Performing troubleshooting as suggested by Chilton’s, we determined we needed to replace this oxygen sensor. Replacing it wasn’t easy as it required extra-long extension bars and a 1/2-inch large ratchet. Prior from removing it, we had to contend with removing the connector from the connector going to the ECU. Removing the connector coming from the ECU from the mounting bracket simplifies removing the connectors’ assembly. After this, it helps to soak the oxygen sensor’s as it attaches to the exhaust with penetrating oil and then removing it. Upon replacement, cat error codes cleared and have not been triggered once again. Very satisfied!

Good product but should have more information about part like this is upstream sensor so it is for before cat.

I bought the used, worked as it should. My install was easy because I could reach from the top side, which is very nice. AC Delco is best for GM, keeps it original. Made in Mexico so at least it’s not China.

The one I bought was the downstream and I thought it was the upstream. I talked to a most pleasant man. I would buy from him again. 🙂 In my quest for O2 sensors, I found, at different auto parts stores, in their computer system, the downstream and upstream were not categorized correctly in their computer system. Pay attention 🙂 I was going to replace upstream and downstream at the same time anyway. Again, I would buy from this seller again.
