I used this 12 volt plug to replace one that melted on a generic car charger for M18 batteries. This plug feels strong. The wire is bigger than the one I replaced. There is a strain relief on the wire where it exits the plug. The switch is lighted (comes on when you turn the switch on) and works well. They included a clear box with 4 extra fuses for each plug. The ends of the wires are even pre-stripped and tinned. I think they covered all the bases with these 12 volt plugs. I installed this on the generic M18 charger and now it is working again.

I like that this pack comes with extra fuses in case you blow one setting it up. I definitely needed these.
