WORKED OUT GREAT

The good: seems sturdy. Length is correct for a slab (fleet) side Ranger. Comes with a free gas cap.
The opportunities for improvement: The gas cap end is clocked 180 degrees off. This can be fixed by taking off the upper hose clamp, pulling the big hose down to reveal the inner hose. Once the inner hose clamp is removed, the gas cap end can be rotated so the screws holding it onto the filler door will fit. The gas tank end of this assembly had a too short hose clamp – and the hose end isn’t flared, so expect a tight fit. I just reused the hose clamp that was on there before.
Overall – less than half the price of local stores, none of which had the item on the shelf.

Perfect fit.

Hopefully people read reviews..
This definitely fit my 96’ Ranger 4.0 but….
Like others have mentioned the mounting holes did not line up. I made the mistake of loosing the clamp and spinning the spout so they would line up. This causes the inner hose to twist and kink up inside the main hose and the gas pump will shut off after only a few seconds. I found it easier, for me, to just spin the hose back and drill new holes. Works perfectly now!

Tried to install on my Ford Ranger. Dropped the tank inserted the tank end. Upper end that bolts to the truck bed was not clocked properly (holes are off by a mile) tried to rotate upper end to line up holes. Inner tube kinks and you can’t fill the tank. Tank has to come out again and redo everything. Pain in the neck….do not recommend
