My Optima gas tank cap wasn’t giving me the confident click that it used to after 8 years of faithful service. Knowing that gas caps can really cause a problem with flow from the tank and vapor release, I went ahead and replaced it with this one. It fit perfectly. Even the tether when into place onto the car perfectly. I don’t think you could ask for a better value gas cap if you have a Kia. 5/5 stars.

While driving my 2017 Kia Cadenza Limited the check engine light came on. Once I got home I pulled out the OBD reader and found the code. It indicated I had a gas tank leak or an evap leak somewhere. I read where in most cases it’s just a loose gas cap. I tightened the cap and a week later the same thing happened.
I ordered the Ekln gas cap fuel tank filler cap and it was an exact replacement and fit. Since I’ve installed the new cap, no more check engine light! Thanks Ekln!
