Bought this to replace my old gas cap on a 2004 Nissan titan. It fit perfectly it was easy to obviously install. Just pricey for such a simple part

The cap fits and seems to work fine. However, I paid almost double what a simple cap costs to have the leash. Unfortunately, the barbed end-connector is slightly too short and perhaps a bit too small. If I installed it the same way as the original, it wouldn’t lock. I could get it to lock by clipping in from the back side and spreading the plastic prongs. But this makes it hard to twist. Also, the leash ring doesn’t spin a freely as my original, though perhaps that will improve over time.
I’ll give it a try. Best case, it (the leash and leash ring) will wear in. Worst case, I cut the leash off and I paid $10 too much.

I got this for my 2007 Nissan Armada and it fits perfectly. We have to break in the cord that comes with it because it is a bit stiff right now, overall very satisfied and would recommend. It took care of the issue with the check engine light, once installed the light went off.
