My check engine light kept coming on. I would redo the old cap and it would work for a short time. My mechanic had told me years ago that the check engine light could be because of the gas cap. That was the problem. So glad that this was an easy fix. It also came in a few days.

Kept getting the check gas cap engine light so I replaced my old worn out cap with this one and it worked . Just click it down three to four clicks after fill ups and you’ll be good.

Lose fit on a 05 Yukon Denali,made the check engine light come on. Can’t send back because it has a somewhat gas smell

If you have the “evap leak small” DCT caused by a failed gas cap, this won’t fix it. Faulty.
