Cap fit great. I had a evap code so I started with this. It was the purge valve. But this fit great and has a strong click and looks like stock to me.

Ask your self do you have a Scion/Toyota and need a gas cap that works. Well this one fits a 2004 Scion XB and looks great. I had no GAs cap and now i do! And the price was better then the dealerships parts center. And i still have money left to fill the tank. 🙂

My daughter’s 2008 Toyota Highlander had three warning lamps illuminated: Check Engine, Trac Off, and VSC. I checked online for the issue and found a loose or defective gas cap could be the problem, and sure enough, hers wasn’t sitting correctly on the filler pipe. She had lost the original and had bought an aftermarket one that wasn’t made for that vehicle. I came across this cap on Amazon, which was the cheapest. I had reservations about buying it because of the cost, but I went ahead anyway. The warning lights didn’t go off immediately, but they eventually did after three days of driving once the PCM relearned the parameters.
I am very happy and highly recommend it if you need to replace a lost or defective gas cap. Before installing – be sure to clean the filler pipe.
