I bought this 2 pack for my 2007 Prius and it fits perfectly. I can’t recall the last time I replaced my cabin filter but it was definitely several years ago. This replacement was an exact fit and was very easy to install. You just have to push in the sides of the glove compartment and let the compartment fall down. Remove the plastic cover behind the glove compartment. Pull out the tray and replace. It literally took about 1 minute to do.

I purchased the Cabin Air Filter for TOYOTA Celica Replace CP846,CF9846A (Activated Carbon,2 Pack) for my 2002 Toyota Celica GT & it’s a perfect set of replacement cabin air filters. I like the activated charcoal filters as they remove some odors while filtering the air.
Cabin air filters are often overlooked. Most people don’t think about them until they develop some sort of problem. If the cabin air filter is clogged or full of debris, your airflow will be restricted. This is most notable when you open your vents & there is very little airflow or none at all. Also, when you crank up your AC or heater & notice air is not blowing even though your system’s fan can be heard. If you have an odor when you turn on the fan or open the vents, you may also need to replace the cabin air filter.
Your vehicles owners manual will tell you how often you should change the filter. If you have allergies & live in an area w/lots of pollen or pollution, it’s really important to change your cabin air filter regularly. I replace mine every year.
This is a set of 2x activated charcoal filters. These appear to be well made. I had absolutely no issue installing one (the other is for later).
To replace the cabin air filter in a 2002 Toyota Celica, you start in the glovebox. The filter is behind the glovebox.
Open the glovebox & remove the 2x pegs inside the glovebox in the upper right & upper left corners. Twist the pegs toward you & remove them. The glovebox will then “fall” open. Let it hang.
Look up & behing the glovebox. You’ll see the filter drawer. Pull this straight out toward you. You may have to press the sides in a bit to unlock.
Once you have the air filter frame out, remove the old air filter out of the frame. Insert the new air filter into the frame & replace the frame into the drawer/slot.
Lift up the glovebox back into position, insert the pegs & twist to lock. Once the pegs are locked back into place, it should not “fall” open & you should be able to shut the glovebox. If not, you did not have the glovebox in proper position before inserting the pegs. Remove the pegs, lift the glovebox higher into position & install the pegs again.

Several months ago we purchased a used 2006 Toyota 4Runner and though we are very happy with the car we noticed that we had to turn the A/C fan all the way up to get a sufficient amount of air circulation. My wife thought it might be that the cabin filter was plugged up so we ordered this one. It was easy to install once you read the instructions in the car’s owner’s manual. As soon as we installed the new filter we immediately noticed the difference. Now I can turn the fan down because we get too much air flow on high.
