Lost my original Volvo tank cap. I got one from Autozone but I always have a yellow light saying my fuel tank cap is loose or not installed. I replaced the cap with this product and the yellow light disappeared. So, it looks like the one I got from Autozone is not sealing the fuel tank cap tight that the car thinks it is not installed. Thumbs up for this product!

This is a perfect cap, great price, does the job, just what you need, a breeze to use.
But my car, early 2000s Volvo requires a brand cap with a sensor or the check engine light is always on. With an older car, it’s too much of a risk to always gamble & ignore the light because you think you know why it’s on.

Poor quality, doesn’t seal. This will cause a CEL as it doesn’t seal like an OEM Volvo cap. Save your money and buy from Volvo or you’ll be paying for this and the OEM Volvo cap.

Cheaply made but a good alternative if you don’t want to buy factory parts. They plastic cord attachment is stiff and hard to open/close but fits it’s intended purpose

My check engine light came on and a message stated close the gas cap. I did this and still engine light came on. When I purchased this gas cap and installed it. OFF went the engine light.

Thisis the correct cap for my Volvo xc90 2013. Having difficulty getting the loop to connect to the door the hole seems too small. Got it on after a few tries.
