Bought this gas cap in Sept 2022 due to an EVAP code. The code continued. I just performed a smoke test on the EVAP system. Car was smoking from the gas cap only. This cap only has a 30 day warrantee.

I bought this gascap because I am a bonehead and left the OEM cap at the pump. This cap leaks and triggers a check engine light. Since it was replaced with a genuine MBZ cap, the ECL went away. It is a dustcap but not a gas cap.
