Like others have said, this does not fit a 3/8″ ratchet. Not sure what it fits, but not 3/8. Had to grind down an extra extension to use it.

Just received this tool as I needed to replace fuel pump and screen assembly. Tried water pump pliers but would not loosen. Was told to just use a screwdriver and a hammer. That wasn’t going to happen!!! Then saw this on Amazon and ordered. Worked like a charm. Fit perfectly on retaining cap and with a 3/8 extension and ratchet it loosened and removed with no effort. Highly recommend this tool for any one having to remove the fuel pump and screen assembly from their Polaris side by side.

Many reviews said the square for the 3/8 ratchet does not work; that it doesn’t fit 3/8 or 1/2. It is a perfect 3/8 fit; no slop. Same with the ring. Fits over the fuel pump retaining nut like a glove. Tolerances are spot on.
