Worked great. At first it wanted to lift off the ring cap under pressure, but after a couple quick tugs it began to move. Had it off in a couple of min.

I used this to change my fuel pressure regulator. This was the best value I could see at the time. Worked for my 2008 BMW 328i coupe (e92 N52). The washers they come with suck. It seems like one or two time use. The screws come loose even though i tightened them well. Enough that the washers bent. Looks like they could hold up to another use but would have to eventually replace the washers. Other than that, sturdy enough and works! Took 5 Seconds to get two locking rings Unlocked. Tip: use a breaker bar, make sure the distances are equal distance, and put some even downward pressure at the center. Good luck!

I used this to remove a fuel pump and a fuel filter on a BMW. Adjusting it was simple enough to match the small prongs on the lock rings. But getting the lock ring to break free was an exercise in patience, and it finally moved by the application of steady pressure. The center portion of this spanner accepts a 3/8 inch square head ratchet or breaker bar, but using a ratchet by itself seemed a little tippy and unstable. I had better luck using a ratchet on one side AND an adjustable wrench snugged onto the other side of the spanner. That way I was applying a rotational force and downward force with one hand on the ratchet pushing away from me, while the other hand was pulling the adjustable wrench at the opposite end of the spanner. Once the lock ring loosened, then this spanner and the ratchet got the ring the rest of the way off by itself.

Fuel system upgrade time. It easily removed the ring on my E90 335xi. It’s a sturdy tool and had no problem with that super tight ring, a brass punch did nothing for me so I ordered this and it works. The only thing I did to the tool is run a thread chaser through the threads, there was a little buildup in the threads but it wasn’t a big deal.

I used this on a fuel pump cap on a 2019 Mazda, it was extremely tight and not coming off by hand or with a hammer. I did not want to risk cracking or damage to cap. This tool took it off in 1 minute and felt effortless. I spent like 1 hour trying previously. Great tool to have.

As you can see from my pic, the center had to be filed to allow the 3/8″ drive access for use. When received the center was a large
round hole with 4 small drill holes in each corner. Once filed to fit the 3/8″ ratchet drive the tool worked as it should. Wasn’t a hard fix, just shouldn’t have been necessary. Don’t let this deter you from your purchase. If you are in need of this tool then you have the skills necessary for the quick fix prior to use or you can choose to spend the extra $ on something like an OEM Tool brand.
