I did recieve item but it does not come with the oring that is in the nain picture. Also the unit I recieved did work but it causes the check engine light to come on and throws a fuel temperature code as if temperature sensor on uni is defective. The unit will work and car will run but with check engine light. Buy at your own risk.

Immediately one can tell, that the item that was shipped to me was used heavily. The description says you get a brand new item. Clearly this is not the case.
Recently, I have relied on Amazon for automotive parts due to their low price and promised fast shipping.
However, I have noticed that randomly is the shipping, fast and painless. Often times packages are miss placed, late, or simply do not arrive. Forcing the customer to return the item or mark the shipment as having never arrived.
Sadly, this fuel pump proved to simply be one more confirmation of the same problem.
I ordered this pump two days ago. I was excited because I needed to get my vehicle running. (07 gmc Sierra) and I wanted to use my vehicle to take a family member to their much-needed cancer treatment.
When this item arrived, naturally, I removed it from its packaging, and tried to install it.
I immediately noticed that it was heavily used reeked of gasoline, but trusted Amazons guarantee, and so I tried to install it anyway. Only to learn that it does not even fit. The head of the pump is too wide to fit into the gas tank of my vehicle. Which is the other issue I have with Amazons automotive part service.
The Amazon application told me that this part would fit.
So let’s count the lies told by Amazon in this matter alone.
1) the item is brand new – clearly a line because the item that arrived is heavily used and in poor condition.
2) the item fits an 07 GMC sierra. – clearly a lie It’s 5 inches too long even with the springs compressed and an inch and a half to wide.
3) $63. -. Amazon claimed that the pump fit this vehicle and because it did not this price is a bold face lie. Because of this fact I needed to hire a car to go to AutoZone to buy a the correct fuel pump and instead of paying $63 as advertised above the actual fuel pump is $251
By any stretch of the definition, this is a clear US law violation. Because US LAW clearly forbids false advertising. And there is no other way you can describe this.
If you do not want issue, compounded by issue, upon further compounded issues. Do not buy this pump for an 07 GMC sierra.
And do not trust that it will be brand new when it arrives

I had a hard time getting the fuel arm attached, it reads 1/8 off on the fuel gauge, so when it’s full it shows little low on the gauge, I might need to take it back out and bend the arm down a little bit, otherwise it’s working perfectly pumping fuel.
