The product itself is not hard to install. Dropping the fuel tank out of the Explorer was not the most difficult thing I’ve done either but still a challenge.
The fuel pump is working just fine and got the car running right away.

Just got this installed. Everything was great except one of the connections was really really stiff i had to use some force so the pins would actually separate the recieve side of the connector which meant taking out the fuel pressure sensor off the tank and push the whole thing into something to get it to snap into place. I did check both connectors old and new look identical except the old one looked like the receive pins where slightly wider. Packaging was great , every thing was intact , and everything was already assembled.

I bought and installed this complete pump assembly 8 months ago, so I told myself let’s just wait on a fair and honest review. First thing, super fast,undamaged, ship. Next packed extremely well to avoid damage to sincitive pump assembly. Next this was a truly plug & play assembly with all parts being of a excellent grade materials and fit perfectly. This pump is a true time saver. I believe that it’s rare anymore to get a complete assembly that is of this quality, except for dealer prices. Our 99 explorer ( daily work vehicle) has shown no problems, so with that and great quality product I can safley say that if your on the fence, this one’s a definitely a keeper. No one gave me a discount or anything paid regular price. Thanks Bill in W.V. Update Nov. 1st. 2018. I purchased this fuel pump for two reasons: price & rating. Unfortunately, my experience with this product was not nearly as positive as others. Purchased and installed in November 2017, the pump just died in August 2019. Almost as frustrating, I still had to use starting fluid at least 20 times after installing this device. I just purchased and installed a Delphi fuel pump, which was almost 4 times as much as this generic version, and can already notice a significant improvement in my car’s performance. And, no starting fluid needed.
