Fuel pump was slowly going out on my Tahoe. Was hitting the gas with little to no acceleration. Didn’t want to pay mechanic qoutes of $900 – $1100 for repairs. So I purchased this fuel pump, created an access panel under my rear left passenger seat to get to the old part, removed it & installed the new one within 2 1/2 hours. Got my truck running smoothly & powerfully again. Great value for the money!

Chose the “create a trap door” option for installation. Figuring out the new harness was fun… orange/black goes to smaller gauge black wire on new harness on a 2001 Tahoe. Truck fired right up so let’s hope it lasts! p.s. fuel gauge working again now too!!!

This product shipped quickly and install was as easy as anticipated. I did have to cut the connecter off the old one and install the new one that came with it but that wasn’t the hard part of the install. This fuel pump went in perfectly and is still working.

The fuel pump from the seller was less expensive than the local auto parts stores in my area. It appears to be of good quality and works as it’s supposed to. Just have to wait and see how long it lasts. Other than that, I am very pleased with the item.

Fuel pump works fine but the fuel pressure sensor is faulty, causing a recurrent check engine light with P0446 code. It is definitely a faulty sensor because it is putting out 4.8 volts, indicating tank pressure of around -30 mm Hg constantly, even when I remove the gas cap to relieve tank pressure/vacuum. Extremely dissatisfied, fuel pump replacement is labor intensive and I am upset that I cannot smog my vehicle without going through the whole process again, HELLO QUALITY CONTROL!!!
Price on this was too good to be true so I guess I got what I paid for

Installed the pump myself today. I originally took it to a shop and the guy told me it didnt fit so he put one in that did….or did he. He actually didn’t do crap! Luckily I didn’t pay for him to do NOTHING. Always thought it was weird he didn’t charge me especially since he claimed he put a pump in. Anyway long story short this thing fit perfectly fine. Only problem is…well it didnt fix my problem. So back to the drawing board.
