Been working fine for three days now. It was a easy straightforward installation, but I’ve also done dozens of fuel pumps over the years. I would give a person three big tips. That’s never done this before. One of those is always disconnected the ground from your battery. Use a brass chisel and hammer because they do not cause sparks while you removing the metal ring that you have to twist to unlock from the fuel tank. I know they make a special tool that you can just put on those and twist it with a ratchet or something, but that’s waste money in my honest opinion. If you’re using a steel screwdriver chisel whatever and it slips, it might cause a spark and ignite the fuel vapors in the gas tank. Where thick gloves not rubber thin gloves to protect your hands from gas that’s BS, but the ring that holds the fuel sending unit into the gas tank has very sharp edges like a razor blade as I found out for the first time on my 2010 Nissan rogue S. It was so sharp I didn’t even realize it had cut me until I realize there was blood everywhere but that is the three things I would tell someone doing this for the first time if if you can’t come up with a brass chisel, just be careful not to create a spark, but I always remove the ground from the battery post when performing work on a vehicle that doesn’t require it to have a source of Power to perform the work you’re doing to it. This protects yourself and it protects the electronics of the vehicle. Oh, and one more big thing do not forget to plug up the hose on this particular model of fuel pump there is a hose and a wire with a clip that you can just push the clip in to release it. That is actually inside of the fuel tank. Blow the dirt off of the Work area where you’re removing the fuel pump from I’m sure It’ll have a good thick layer of dirt around it. You want to prevent Any contamination getting into your fuel tank. A few specs of dust is no big deal. Always a good float first followed mass fuel pump to get the rest of it into the opening of the tank without getting your fuel level float Arm hung up on something. And the way, I usually put these in is my rule to float arm, enters the opening in your fuel tank first Followed by your fuel sending unit. I didn’t have no fitment issues at all with this fuel pump it runs quiet and most important. It was a direct replacement. There was no new clips for your fuel lines included in this kit. It’s just the fuel sending unit complete with the pump Pre installed inside of it. Check your fuel after installing you did not your level float arm up on something like a baffle inside of the gas tank. It really sucks to get completely back together and the backseat back in the vehicle to find out that your arm for your fuel level is hung up on something and registering wrong the float arm which operates your fuel level sensor

The description states this fuel pump is compatible with a 2013 Nissan Rogue. After taking it apart, I learned that my fuel pump is different from the one I bought.
Description should be changed with more detail including specific model and engine size.
    Very dissapointed.

  7. Barb

    Works as it should.

  8. Sododji Djabirisam

I spent morning for nothing. The mechanic installed it, the gauge was not showing anything. I am very disappointed.
