The elbow that came with this (visible in the picture) fit perfectly into the withdrawal assembly on my Moeller tank, and the construction seems perfectly adequate. These work way better than those silly 2 prong plastic connectors everyone uses these days; I switched mine out and haven’t had a leak since.

This is a good fuel fitting. Just be carful… This is for newer school Mercury outboard. Not old ones from the 60,s – 70,s. My mistake, I’ll just put it in my extra parts box. . Not sure if they specified what years it fit, so that’s the only reason I’ll drop down to four stars. 🙂

Works great for my 1969 Mercury 20hp outboard. Had to do a little research since there is two on these connections that are similar. This one fits 20hp and higher older Mercury outboards. The other one will fit the lesser HP models.
