The part did screw in but as you can see from the picture the tubing size is completely different. There is no way this will work on a 2000 honda civic.

This was so cheap so I decided to order the Honda one. Yes it was ridiculously expensive, but for something the car depends on I feel it is money well spent. Besides, the last Honda one lasted 13 years. This one looked like it might not make 13 months.
