Ordered for a 05 Pontiac Vibe. Was happy to have a gas cap with a strap to help avoid forgetting the cap on top of your car while filling up. 2 or 3 uses in, the strap broke. The cap still works fine/no engine lights but the plastic strap didn’t hold up.

This thing started acting up the second day after I used it , gas cap was kind of hard to come . This gas cap left me stranded at the gas pump for about 20 minutes because it broke the knob came off and the other plastic piece was still in my tank. After 20-30 minutes and paying somebody $20 they eventually got it out. Do not buy this don’t spend that $50 and buy the real one at the dealership

My vehicle’s gas cap broke and out of desperation I bought this one in a hurry. My bad, I should’ve read the reviews. This replacement gas cap broke under 30 days. It’s flimsy and not worth the money. Save yourself the time and trouble and just do not buy it.
