They are very useful if they came with the right size screws tht came of the car.. Hardware tht came with the product dnt fit the screw holes on the car.

I recently replaced the hood lift struts on my 1999 Nissan Maxima and so far they have been a good replacement.

Even though these struts have the connections on the wrong end and have to be installed upside down they function in the manner they are supposed to. Other reviews said they didn’t come with they connecting hardware or don’t fit existing. Mine had the hardware that I didn’t use because they snapped onto the the original studs.
