Fram is normally a cheap product but their high end synthetic filters are actually exceptional. You can find videos on YouTube where they are disassembled. Just be sure to use high end oil. I use royal purple

I do my own oil changes and always check the used oil. So far, my 2012 Jeep Cherokee (only 63,000 miles) has not shown any traces of dirt, particles, sludge, or metal shavings in the used oil.
Jeeps are very demanding when it comes to the frequency/quality of oil changes, so I decided to use these filters as a preventive measure.
So far I am very happy.

Made the switch to this brand of filters years ago working on a 1985 mustang 5.0 GT (V8 in case you don’t know) using full synthetic oil. The filters perform flawlessly every time. I currently use them on my 12 explorer limited V6. Excellent price for a great product.
