I own a 2017 Nissan X-trail, which is the non-U.S. version of the Nissan Rogue (I live in Panama). I went to the dealer for my regular maintenance, and they recommended I change the cabin filter. They wanted $50 for the filter, and $25 for the labor. I decided to look for one myself online, and found that the majority of filters ranged from $8-25, and I went the Fram based on reviews and the fact that it said it fit for my car. I was a bit reluctant that it would fit, as the description details of the dimensions of the filter itself seemed slightly larger than the OEM filter for Nissan, but it wasn’t an issue, and fit just fine.
The installation was EXTREMELY easy, at least on my vehicle. Without exaggerating, it took me a whole 2 minutes for the entire procedure. It involved popping off a white plastic cap underneath the glove compartment on the passenger side, pulling out the old filter, and popping in the new filter (making sure it was facing the right direction for airflow). No screws to undue or tools needed. It might take 30 seconds wiggling the new Fram filter into the slot until it fits properly, but that was it…it’s really quite easy and definitely doesn’t require a mechanic. Filter build and quality seems good, would buy again.

Very cheap and works fine. Minor installation issue thats because nissan placed it very awkward space. No issue from filter.

Great price on this cabin filter. I live in a dusty-high desert area so filters are checked quarterly. Not easy to install but that is on the manufacturer, not the filter. I did find out while at my dealer for other service, they will install owner-purchased filters, no charge (they normally charge about $170. for purchase/install for both engine and cabin filters!!)–it is worth a try to ask your repair facility about that.

Fit my car perfectly, it is great product at a fair price.

Took out the old filter which was OEM and compared for 2020 Nissan Rogue. Dimensions were very close and so I placed new fram filter in. Easy breezy 🙂

Nissan makes it quite hard to install and remove these (Not FRAMs fault). It was the exact size of the Nissan one so nothing wrong with this one and recommend it if you want to do it yourself.

Fits same as OEM and a lot cheaper than having the dealership do it.
