I picked this filter through Amazon suggestion box using the Garage tool, for my Pacifica 2018. Too bad I was waiting a bit too long for a moment to install it as it appears now it does not fit my car anymore. Now I’m stuck with filter that I don’t need and need to buy a proper one. The cabin filter seems like a forgotten filter because most people are not aware that it exists! Recent purchase of a Grand Caravan had very low airflow volume, even when the fan was placed on high speed. Upon inspection of the cabin filter, I found it to plugged solid with debris. I replaced it with this Fram FreshBreeze & airflow was restored. Now the windshield defroster works as it should & the blower motor will not have to work as hard or long to heat up or cool down the van’s interior.

Fit perfect on a 2001 chrysler town and country. Definitely tell the difference. Highly recommend. It’s a hair tight because its new but it will work trust me. Fresh air inside the cabin which it’s a plus.

This Filter does keep the dirt off of you… I don’t feel dirty & grungy from those long road trips and the shower water proves it. My Wife & I feel much cleaner now after a road trip. It will keep all of the debris from inside or outside air intake clogging your HVAC cores…BUT it will NOT kill the stink from the dirty catalytic converters on the car in front of you. Or the local pig/chicken farm out here in the country.
My van didn’t come with a filter. So, I bought the filter door from the dealer and I used a ‘Dremel’ with a cutter tool and removed the plastic that would have been removed had my van had come with the filter. Spent 2 hours with a toothbrush that I made a homemade handle for to reach the top of the core that was full of hair, carpet lint, etc. The Blower now blows more air thru the filter than it did before I cleaned the heater core that didn’t have a filter in front of it.

Our 2008 Caravan had a strange odor with the use of it’s A/C . The dealer suggested we had neglected to replace the “cabin” filter . Which we had since we had no idea it had such a thing . So being the DIY kind of guy I am I began searching for filters . These are not commonly found at your local Wal Mart or even you local auto parts shop although the latter can gladly order you one , at a premium ! So off to trusty AMAZON I came and ta-da ! Here were multiple options to select from and having used FRAM filters for years I chose this one . It is an absolute perfect fit and when held side by side to the one that came out of the dash it’s clearly more robust and better built and manufactured than the OEM filter . This was an easy job to do and took about 10 minutes start to finish but sure enough solved our foul smelling A/C . This product is likely to last a good while longer than the stock unit and with it’s clearly superior build and material quality i’m confident that it won’t prove to be an issue . 4+ months of use thus far and no issues or odd odors attest to this . So buy with confidence !

Great value for a cabin filter. Due to the placement of the opening of the compartment to place the filter in. It was somewhat of a hassle to get the new one in place. But it works good.

I have owned a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan since new, but never used a cabin air filter. There were expensive back then and frankly, I forgot about it. Fast forward to 2016 I noticed these were now cheap so I gave it a shot. AMAZINGLY, it caused the temperature of my AC to drop significantly. From cold to icebox-cold! I surmise this is because it slightly obstructs the airflow, causing the compressor to less efficiently. Whatever it is, I’ll take it.
Additionally, I have noticed a cleaner cabin. I live in an area with a lot of road construction, and this has cut down the dust on my dash.
It is snug, and you have to wiggle it a bit as it works it’s way into the slot, but not difficult to install.
