I replaced this based on the typical symptom: Compressor won’t kick on but confirmed pressure with gauges. Well it worked a little: just enough to drive me crazy for almost a year before finally ordering another and fixing it.
I changed the clutch coil, the evap temp sensor, the relay… And I had a wire running from the relay to a switch inside the cabin to momentarily force the compressor to run and “start” the AC
