Used for 12v compressor, been working great for 2 months now

Seems to be good quality. It’s very big 4cm x 4cm x 4cm. Comes with the wire connection plugs and terminals, very nice. Exactly has advertised.
The only problem is with the diagram and photo. The diagram (pic#2 in amazon description) shows pin 86 to the left and pin 85 to the right but the relay (pic#3 in amazon description) has pin 85 to the left and pin 86 to the right. It’s a bit confusing. That’s why I give it only 4 stars.
Foshio, what is correct: The diagram or the relay???
I followed the text of pic #2 in amazon’s description and it works great.
pin #30: This is to the battery. Don’t forget the fuse as this is high current.
pin #87: This is to your accessory, in my case a led light bar.
pin #86: This is to the positive coil of what will trigger the relay (ACC in my case)
pin #85: This is the coil ground (-)

This relay is better built than I expected and included connectors, zip ties, and color instructions and specifications that actually made sense.
UPDATE– The coil gets very HOT with a within 30 seconds at 24vdc and the smell of smoke after a few minutes. This is even with no load connected. Unless I got a defective relay, I can predict the coil will melt itself out in no time. And hopefully not start a fire.
For continuous use, I replaced it with a name brand model.

Compact for the rating of amperage

Used this on at ATV to run accessories I wanted on keyed power. The Relay works great!

This was much needed for installing a secondary fuse panel. I wanted to add outlets in the car for phone charging plus adding a dash cam! Didn’t expect this to be that big kinda took up the spot that I was gonna install the panel.
carmen –
Heavy duty, nice.

I used this relay to power a secondary fuse block. It made it easy to have switched power to the accessory fuse block.
