Have been using this product for a long time. It really works greta for 2 step polish and cuts minor scratches

Ok so what are you going to expect for a $5 product? Obviously common sense should apply that it’s not going to be a professional repair. So I thought for $5 what will it hurt?
So used the product on some very “light” scratches on my black 2024 corvette.
First of all try the product on a part of the car that’s not easily seen and a small spot to ensure it won’t damage finish.
So after applying the product were the scratches gone? Yes and no. The scratches were still there BUT made it harder to see with naked eye in sunlight.
Now if I look close at where I KNOW where spot is, of course I’ll see it. No matter how you try to trick yourself- your brain is going to see the scratch regardless. To really have peace of mind is to have another set of eyes look. I did that and 3 people could not see any scratches.
Of course when I pointed it out, then all 3 noticed. In summary- for $5 – its pretty good!
Those who say well 95% fixed – blah blah
Let’s see – 95 % fixed for $5 OR $200-$500 for a professional repair (providing it’s light scratches)
Also – there is no bad smell and not an eye irritant. Not sure what these other reviewers are talking about. Lol

An auto body shop gave me an estimate of in excess of $1,500 for 20 hours of labor over 3 days to clears some scratches. I fixed about 98% of the problem myself with this product and 90 minutes of effort. Highly recommended!

I read a lot of reviews before buying this, but Scratch out really is the go-to product. Someone left a 7 foot scratch down to the metal on my shiny new truck. This made the scratch nearly invisible with maybe six minutes of easy work. Most of that six minutes was just letting the product dry to a haze before buffing it off with a cloth. Easy, cheap, and effective.
Update: this product did work well at first, but the effect wears off quickly. After a few days or a single rainstorm the scratch reappears. This is like putting makeup on a scar. It does not fix the problem and does not last.

Had a small child kick his door open while I was backing out. It left a long scratch down the side of my car. His mom who was on the other side of the car told me to buff it out and walked away. Well not having a buffer handy and also angry, I went here and found this product. It WORKS! It took me three applications and a little elbow grease but I am happy to say that the long white scratch on my charcoal car is almost (ALMOST) invisible! Next we are going to try covering up a scratch on my daughter’s car. 100% would but again.

I have detailed my own vehicles as well as family vehicles for 30+ years. I really only use hand applied products for my detailing. I tried this product based on some external reviews and was disappointed. I was looking for a product that would removed microscatches or swirl marks visible is direct light. This actually made the test clear coated paint surface worse than when I started. I used my go-to old reliable products to correct the additional scratches this caused. My go-to products are Meguiar’s ScratchX 2.0 and the slightly less effective Turtle Wax Scratch & Swirl Remover. Use a good, soft, clean microfiber cloth for application and removal. Finish it up with a good couple of coats of Turtle Wax Hybrid Cermaic Spray Coating to protect. Depending on how bad the scratches are, you may have to apply the scratch remover 2-3 more times to improve it. I cannot speak to the end result if your scratches are deeper into the paint or down to the bare metal. I typically fix bare metal scratches with touch paint/clear coat first and address the nearby micro scratching/swirls after the touch-up paint has cured long enough. I believe this Scratch Out product is too abrasive for micro scratches/swirling. If unsure, always start with a small, more concealed area, if possible. Good luck!

It worked incredibly well and did not hurt the paint. I used it on my new truck. Read reviews online first….was worried. It was like a miracle.

Do not expect miracles beyond reason.. But on the positive note it can surely remove hair like scratches and blemishes from the car’s body very effectively
Principle involved:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Works like a super fine abrasive to even out the paints filling up the minor crevices created by scratches.
My Testimony:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Once, I noticed my car had developed certain scratches and rubbing marks on edges of my bonnet during course of its washing and rubbing in the car wash workshop as they always use sub standard cloth pieces to wipe the car.
I was glad that i could see those minor marks fade to oblivion as I applied and gently rubbed this paste over n over again.
It could however not remove a major 2″ blemish over my car body and I now understand, rightfully so. It is not meant to restore the worn out paintwork but can clearly even out paintwork for the little ones.
Can sure take up the Dwarves…But loses to the Goliaths..!!
Update as on 02/02/17 :

Got a quite deep scratch over my bonnet.I am a person who likes to keep his car clean and clear so was very depressed the moment i saw that scratch.Had lost all hopes but then ..Voila !!
The formula 1 scratch remover proved to be my “Dark Horse” and as can you see, repeated gentle rub of the paste over the bonnet by mere finger and then rubbing it out with a cloth..It was all GONE..Don’t believe me..Believe what you see.
Very Impressed & highly recommended.

It does not work on scratches. I have scratches on my fine scratches on my vehicle and purchased this product hoping the scratches would be less noticeable, but it does not work. The product made no difference.
