I had an issue in the past with my fuel tank cap missing the hanging chain and thus, the downfall of forgetting and losing my cap at a truck stop occurred. In all my years of fueling, I was distracted and forgot to tighten the cap and the rest is history. Never to be found. I managed to get by with a plastic glove over the fuel tank but that was also getting old and strictly to be a temporary fix. Then I pulled the trigger and got this and it fits my 70 gallon tank. The extra function of locking the cap is a nice touch. Always good to have a backup cap in the event your truck goes with a missing cap. Locking ensures no one will be able to access your fuel when not around.
