This fits the Hau Sheng 49cc honda clone engine perfectly. Looks just like the one i took off. Perfect fit and function. Immediately noticed better performance from the engine. It doesnt start as easy as the old one but it still starts well and i expect that will improve with use.
Maybe it was just a good batch but this one seems a bit better quality than the original. Could just be confirmation bias though.

After my HuaSheng 49cc bicycle motor had sat for a year, I couldn’t get it to idle correctly. I took apart the carburetor and cleaned it, but could not fix the problem. I bought this replacement carburetor, bolted it on my motor, and voila, it runs like new. This carb is identical to the original and required no adjustment to run perfectly. Problem solved. Thank you!

Does the job, HOWEVER the cast parts are very fragile(pot metal) and the needle easily bends.
Medium to low quality, but I expect nothing more for the price.

I was NOT impressed by this. Bought as a replacement to a chinese 2 stroke engine I bought pre built on a bike. Had a stripped screw, so I thought its better to replace the carburetor with a better quality one, right? WRONG! I thought Flying horse was supposed to be a good quality brand. Came with chinese symbols, which I expected because it’s a chinese carb… but what really bothered me was the PLASTIC PARTS! My old carb has mostly metal parts for the moving mechanisms where this one had mostly all plastic… The only good thing about it I noticed was the Jet was very secure. But what threw me over the edge was that it came broken! A full crack down the side of the air filter big enough to put a pencil in. I would post a picture, but my computer is having trouble posting pictures. Bottom line, DON’T Trust these to be good quality! THEY ARE NOT! And beware amazon prime shipping! They don’t know how to ship these things safely obviously!

I have two Honda GXH50 engines, and purchased two of these carbs. One is on a motorized bicycle, the other on a scooter. Swaping out the stock carbs with these was a cinche, everything lined up perfectly. I noticed a significant performance increase on both motors. On the bicycle, my MPH went from 28mph to 35mph. Nice fast acceleration, and the motor runs much smoother now. On my scooter it worked the same, I went from 20mph to 27mph, lots of torque too. With this carb, its like the potential of the motors was unlocked. On the scooter I am going to change some sprockets out since there is so much torque, I am sure that I can easily increase it top speed. Excellent carb! One note, if you do swap put this on a Honda GXH50, be sure to put a tach meter on, since its easy to run the motor over the 7800 max rpm that is recommend. You don’t want to blow the engine up.

I got this carburetor to go on my 4 stroke motorized bike & it’s allot less problematic than the 4 stroke carburetor on my HS 142F motor. Just needed to get an intake adapter from gasbike.net. The parts seem to be decent enough quality as far as China made goes & it’s really easy to work on. Installing my throttle was a bit tricky compared to the other carburetor that came with my motor but figured it out pretty fast.
One thing I noticed when installing it to a 4 stroke was the fact the stock breather hose couldn’t reach the air filter on the NT carb so I needed to get a longer one & hook it up to one of the 4 holes on the bottom of the air intake housing for EPA reasons. Other than that it’s a great carb & at a great price because other sellers are trying to ask $40 to $50 for the same carburetor which is ridiculous.
The parts on the NT carb are allot easier to remove & install than on the stock HS 4 stroke carbs. The fuel line jet is sitting above the fuel bowl & you can remove it with a wrench without having to remove the fuel bowl unlike those 4 stroke carbs so taking it apart to clean it is very easy. The float levels are better to. It maintains the perfect float level so my carburetor or engine doesn’t get flooded & so the carb doesn’t leak fuel.
