This MagSafe magnetic car phone mount by NOVAKE has recently been upgraded with even MORE magnetic “grip”, ensuring it hold even heavier PLUS-sized iPhones, and Samsung phones with magnetic or metal cases.
It can be adjusted easily, and the design of the mount, as well as its “over sized” circular back, provides a solid base for phones in any position. The design, with an open circular base also allows air from the vent to cool your phone when it is hot, and provide air circulation so your phone doesn’t block your access to heat or cool air. The box also includes a magnetic ring, a thoughtful touch that makes it easy to turn a non-MagSafe phone magnetic and “attractive” to the magnetic mount.
Materials are durable plastic, with a softer trim on the base to prevent scratching your phone or protective cover with repeated use. It is also easy to “unlock” the base and move the mount from one vent, or one car, to another. This is a frequent travel companion for me when I need a secure mount for a rental vehicle.

I was really hoping this phone mount could replace my clumsy rear view mirror unit I have been using the last couple of years. It shows “Fit 99%” but alas a Jeep ain’t one of them….. My Jeep has big round air vents and this is at least an inch or more away from extending far enough to latch on. I do like the design and I think it would work quite well and I will be bringing it with me on business trips where I can rent cars with more standard sized vents. It has an array of metal rings and other things but otherwise it works right out of the box as designed. The magsafe is strong and again the design would otherwise be great. Would love it if they could package in an extender bar that has the hook at the end, it would not take much to get this functional on my car. All in all, I would recommend it but study the mount design and look closely at your vents, Four stars, not dinging them for the issue with my Jeep.

I din’t think I’d like this phone mount, but it actually clips easily & secures well to the vent louver. The ball provides rotation to achieve the perfect orientation.
It’s a pleasure to drive using this phone mount.

I liked that the product was easy to figure out. You twist the bottom to extend the vent latch and twist it back the other way to secure it in place. The other side of the unit is a ball joint for the magnet that also tightens into place. It fits well in my car, a 2020 Honda accord with horizontal vent slats. The magnet is very strong. I received this one on Vine, but I am buying one for every car I have that it fits into. I really like that this model lets cold AC air pass through it onto the middle of the back of the phone keeping it cool. I just received my Samsung s24 ultra with an ESR magnetic case. You need a magnetic case for a Samsung phone to work. It holds up my heavy phone fine horizontally or vertically.
Only one slight con is that once I tighten the vent latch down, my vent is forced into either slightly up or down depending on which way I flip the latch. I choose slightly up on the second vent slat, each slat I chose gave me a slightly different final direction for the air flow. The second orientation I tried was fine. I am also not sure this would fit into ANY and ALL cars, worth a try, certainly if you have thin vent slats.
I liked it, I’m buying more.

Intuitive and well designed. I like the way the mount hooks onto the air outlet, tight so that it won’t come unstuck when you pull your MagSafe attached phone off. I also like the industrial design. Some mounts are really ugly but this one looks slick. It is symmetrical, simple, and compact.
The MagSafe attachment is secure and powerful. Nice benefit of a mount like this is that you can attach your phone in either a vertical or horizontal configuration. Also included are a couple of magnetic rings for use on non-MagSafe phones, but I wouldn’t use it in that way. I think you’re better off with a conventional mount for an older non-MagSafe phone.
If you’re in the market for a mount of this type you’d be hard pressed to find a better option than this one – especially at such a great price.

It does make changing direction of airflow difficult in my F150, but it is sturdy and holds well. Would recommend.
