Used this switch along with a wiring harness from Quadratec to wire in a cutoff for the dome / footwell lights in my daughter’s Wrangler. Works flawlessly. Now she can shut these off easily when removing the doors this summer. The fitment and installation is also easy. A little pricey, but nice.

    Title say it all…

This switch fit perfect in my Jeep TJ and looks custom with the KC HiLites logo. Had a question on install and the seller got back to me right away and it was late on a Sunday! Great customer service and will buy more as I add more lights.

I installed it in my 2006 TJ and it fits perfect. Looks good. Lights up when activated

The switch matches the OEM ones really well. The included harness is definitely a plus. Fitment was really nice as well

I’ll Start with saying I LIKE the switches. Clearly, I have four of them. My only complaint is two of them, the indicator light when wired stays on whether switch is on or off (dome and rock) and two light up only when switch is on (lightbar and reverse). Because of such, I have just not used the wire for the indicator as I want that to show on only when switch is on.

They were all wired to the same hot so this is a manufacturing inconsistency.

The switch physically itself does not feel like a light switch. The motion is kinda springless. But who cares. It does the job.

Fit is PERFECT to factory inserts. Just pop the dummy cover off from the back and click these in. That easy! Appear like they came from factory

    Bought 2 switches. O
Both work but one doesn’t have a good feel for on and off. No real click

Needing to add some offroad lights, but not wanting to pay mopar prices, I grabbed a few of these to check them out. They seem a little light, and feel somewhat “cheap”, but I tried them anyways. They snap right into the panel, after you removed the blanks. I grabbed 4, to run lights on all 4 sides. I used Sopoby self soldering connectors (available on amazon) to wire the hot feed and grounds together.

I spliced into the cigarette lighter harness, on the keyed side. (One lighter plug is always hot, the other is keyed, on my 2006) the voltage and Amp load needs to light the switch, and signal the relay, not carry the load of the lights or accessories. I grabbed a set of relays with pigtails from amazon to run the lights. After solder-connecting the wiring with the sopoby’s, I powered them up, and tested them.

They light up with a little orange led, when you turn them on, and are dark when turned off. Mine all worked without any issues or problems. The switches have a positive detent or “click” when operated. A short run of 14-4 thnn wire to the relays under the hood, and I was done with install. Worth the money, so far, at a quarter the price for mopar switches.
