Just installed, very easy. Picture looks clear. You can only view video clips with vehicle power on, or remove memory card. Future review after a few hard braking incidents locks in some videos.

Excellent Camera. front was super easy to install. Needs more information/videos on how to install the Rear Camera (i.e. how to run the wires from front to rear of vehicle. I have a really hard time with the rear camera, and needed a very specific tool to pull the wires through without removing the roof liner.

I recently got this Fitcamx Dash Cam for my 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe, and overall, I’m super happy with it. It blends right into the car’s interior, so you’d never guess it wasn’t factory-installed. The video quality is excellent, and the installation was pretty straightforward.
Important tip for installation in the 2024 Santa Fe: The box comes with a smaller black cable and a bigger white cable—definitely go with the white cable for the installation! Behind your car’s mirror you’ll find both a smaller black cable you could unplug and use or a big white cable. This small black cable is almost impossible to unplug in the 2024 Santa Fe, while the bigger white one (that is physically right under the black one in your car) clicks in and out easily. Also, if this bigger white cable doesn’t connect smoothly and is a perfect fit to the cable from the package, like me, you might’ve been sent the wrong cable. If it’s not an immediate perfect fit – reach out to support. Thankfully, customer support was great and sent the correct one fast and free of charge.
The WiFi feature works great with the app, letting me watch live footage or download videos easily. With the loop recording and G-sensor, I know important stuff is always saved. Overall, this dash cam has been a solid addition—highly recommend it for anyone wanting an upgrade without losing that factory look!

After having a dash cam with a wire running down from my mirror for so long, this dash cam is awesome! It looks like it’s an OEM device, because there aren’t any extra cables hanging about the cabin.
Installation of the front camera was simple, especially being able to see how the cover comes off using the dash cam cover as a guide. After removing the the snap plate above the mirror, the front snaps down easily using the included pry tool, and then you slide it forward and off. Underneath, there are three plugs, and I had to unplug them to figure out which one the Y-adapter goes into. Hint: it’s the one on the far right on the silver box, which is the rain sensor for the wipers. After plugging everything in, it was a simple matter of tucking the wires under the cover, sliding the rear of the camera unit in place, snapping the front upward, and then placing the snap cover above the mirror.
Starting the car was rewarded with the blue light indicating that it was powered on. I did have some difficulty connecting the app to the camera. I would connect to the camera wifi, but then it would immediately go back to a disconnected state. After a couple of false starts, it occurred to me that my phone was automatically connecting to CarPlay, which uses the wifi connection on the phone. After disconnecting CarPlay, I was able to connect to the camera without any issue.
I’ve only made a couple of short trips since installation, but the camera is functioning perfectly, and the video quality is very nice and clear. There are some times when the picture can get a little pixelated like when going from underneath trees to open sky. I haven’t pulled any clips to view on my computer, but from what I saw on the phone, it’s a huge improvement over my old FHD camera.
You do need to have the car on in order to view clips on your phone, which I would think goes without saying, but you know how that goes. You can also remove the microSD card, which is easily accessed on the side of the housing. They even include a card reader with USB-A and USB-C plugs, which is nice to have in general.
I opted for the front only, because I didn’t really want to start disassembling my new car. It would be nice if they made a camera that could wire into the harness in the rear even if it operates separately from the front. I may just buy another standalone camera and mount it facing rearward. While it wouldn’t be as nicely integrated, there is a 12V socket in the cargo are that I could plug it into. Who knows, maybe if they offer a rear camera add-on kit, I’ll be more amenable to disassembling the interior to run the cable back there.
At any rate, the OEM look alone is worth the price of entry.

I have a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid calligraphy. See attached photo that is the plug for the rear view mirror you need to attach it to the silver box to the right. Other than that install was fairly easy. Have not installed the rear camera yet. It started raining.
