This works great, doesn’t stink up the house and keeps your books dry. Use it generously when it gets rainy and muddy. Your boots will love you for it.

I’ve been using mink oil to condition my cowboy boots for years. Keeps the leather or skins supple and looking great. Easy to apply, and works great. Lizzard, Snake, Alligator, Ostrich… all of them look better after application of this amazing product.

I have used mink oils of various types to maintain oil-tanned boat shoes and hiking boots. I found this product to work as well as the ones I have used in the past. It applies easily, restores the deep leather color, and restores the water proof nature of the shoe. Like all products I have used in the past, it works best if you let the shoe sit in the sun or by a hot air register for a day to let the substance get absorbed by the leather. The texture is similar to soft wax and I apply it with an old rag, such as an old wash cloth. The product meets all of my expectations.

Works excellent on my leather boots

I was hoping that the 6 0z. container would contain enough product to treat a pair of Men’s size 12 medium height work boots. Six ounces doesn’t sound like much but once I began working on the first boot and realized how much coverage a small amount treated I knew I would have plenty to do the pair. I should note that these were new unworn boots.

Once I had treated the above mentioned pair and saw how nice they turned out, I thought, “Well I have barely touched the contents of the Mink Oil’s 6 ounces”, so I drug several pair of older, well worn, and dried out leather boots and went to work on them. THIS PRODUCT TOOK TO DRY LEATHER LIKE A DUCK TO WATER! Beautiful absorption and coverage on a thirty year old pair of DANNER high top hunting boots brought the boots back to “NEW CONDITION”! I am extremely pleased with the results! AND, the MINK OIL container is still almost full!

Next in line are my motorcycle boots and I anticipate wonderful results from the MINK OIL on them as well. Then I will treat my WOLVERINE and SOREL hunting boots. Once all my boots are done I will treat several pair of leather gloves before I treat my leather holsters and gun cases. THIS STUFF WORKS ON ANY SMOOTH LEATHER!

AND once all these products are treated I am sure I will have used less than 3 ounces of the 6 ounces from the container! I am using an old “Medium” bristle toothbrush to work the product into the seams and stitching as directed as well as a circular motion on larger areas. IT WORKS PERFECTLY! After the product dries overnight I simply buff the surfaces with a soft cloth and the results are beautiful!

AND My leather items are now impervious to water and snow! THis stuff is well worth the price and the 6 ounces will last a long time for future uses. BUY IT!

I have never oiled my boots before. Did not exceed my expectations but did have decent results in their appearance and waterproofness. After hunting in my boots for a few days, you could not recognize that they had been oiled.

I needed a product to clean and condition my boots. They had been sitting in my closet when I noticed they started to dry out. I orded this product yesterday and it got here today so I was eager to try it. OMG! It left my boots looking absolutely beautiful! Although it’s slightly different lighting, you can see how great the boots look now. I can’t wait to try it on my other boots!

    Perfect to protect leather products

Well there are some cowboy boots in the house purchased back in 2006 in good old California. Pulling them out of the loft they looked as dry as a bone and unloved.

So want to do? Turn to YouTube of course. The British Encyclopaedia of all knowledge in the 21st Century. This tub is the best suggestion or so it would seem. Rapidly delivered via Prime (not not that stupid drink…) then applied with a basic cloth and rubbed in with lots of elbow grease. The leather darkens (as to be expected) and you can almost hear the boots give a deep sigh as they take up the preservative.

20 minutes of hard work and they are back to looking as they did all those years ago. The best thing? They aren’t sticky or greasy so can be put away in a cupboard rather than lost in the loft.

It’s good stuff and I will be using it next on an old leather motorbike jacket that will come out for the spring.

One of the best for waterproofing and conditioning smooth leathers and vinyl.
