Would of been nice if they would of included a few solid pieces of tin for the exhaust cross over, in case one wanted to block it off completely but they didn’t. They did include the ones with the holes in them. Nice Gasket Set and easy to install. what can I say it’s made by Fel-Pro.

The felpro 1212 is the intake gasket to use on either cast iron or aluminum intakes when needing to completely cover OE GM type heat crossovers. The felpro 1212 S3 is similar except it doesn’t cover the heat crossover area completely. Just wanted to clear up confusion between these for Big Block Chevy rebuilders. ::SEE PHOTOS::

I like the design and fit of the gaskets that go onto the heads. I’m not fond of cork gaskets for the front and back. I used my old rubber gaskets (new ones did not come with these). I think the cork set is Felpro 90240-1 and rubber are 90240-2. Now mind you, some people prefer no gaskets but rather RTV sealant. Perhaps because thier intake manifold or heads have been modified or just came that way where the gap between the back/front edge of the block is really small. If this is the case, when you torque down the intake the rubber ones would squeeze out. This is not the case for me however and rubber work perfect.
