I applied it on areas to clean and left it for 5 minutes , rubbed with clothes and I suede plastic razor to remove thick residue.

It does seem to be thicker consistency than goo gone, but works well enough.

So I think we all know that if you need to remove sticky label adhesive there are some pretty aggressive chemicals available, like nail polish remover or acetone to do the trick. But, sometimes such chemicals are far too risky to use because they might damage the finish beneath. So, If soap and water doesn’t work, I prefer to sneak up on solution with products like this (rather than take big risks). It’s like goo gone, or orange oil, and some products in the furniture polishing world, but I will say, this product is a little thicker than most of those. I like the thickness as it stands a little better chance of pooling for those instances when you really need it to soak on the adhesive (but it will certainly run down a vertical surface). I think it compares pretty well to the results of goo gone. I like that the Fast Orange product comes in a bigger bottle, and it’s easy to spray and hold, and it smells nice too. Overall, I’m happy with the product, and I think it suits an array of cleaning tasks not just limited to automotive. I do suggest testing it in a small area first though, especially if you are worried about your finishes.

So I didn’t get this really for the car though we will use it when we need to but more as an alternative to Goo Gone which I use to remove the adhesive from jars that I want to reuse. I tested this on a Oui yogurt jar that I didn’t remove the label soon enough and there was a lot of adhesive residue left. I sprayed two spurts into a paper towel and started to rub it off, after getting about half of the adhesive off, i had to flip the towel to get a cleaner surface (still with the solution) to get the rest off. It’s similar to what I had to do with Goo Gone as well but it did a great job and there isn’t any adhesive left after cleaning for about a minute. I would highly recommend this product as it has a pleasant orange smell instead of the usual chemical smell.

This is basically the same stuff as Goo Gone which has been around forever. It works well enough but nowhere close to as effective as acetone so there are certainly some adhesives/tapes it will not remove easily. I’m not sure why this claims to be a gel because what I got is in no way a gel. My biggest problem is that it’s 16oz and costs more than a 24oz bottle of Goo Gone spray gel. Why pay more for a comparable product? I recommend shopping around before purchasing this but there’s nothing wrong with it if it’s a good deal.

I ordered the Fast Orange 25816 Citrus Blaster Adhesive Remover 16 oz., Safe for Automotive Surfaces, Easily Remove Stickers, and Tar with Gel Formula for Easy Application. I’ll admit, I have one thing on my car (on the windshield; remnants from an old registration sticker) to use this on and beyond that, had hopes of using this for all of my anti-adhesion needs. Alas…
The good: This is an easy to apply spray bottle. The liquid seems mild, which makes me think it was truly designed to work on a car. They do say it’s good for tar. I’m thinking this likely won’t damage a car’s paint.
The bad: I tried this to remove all of the adhesive on a jar after I took the label off and it failed miserably. I have never scrubbed so hard or so long for so little. Goo Gone would have done the job in a quarter of the time. I am left thinking that Fast Orange should be relegated to a car’s exterior, period.
Worth using if you’re concerned about your car’s paint finish. Otherwise grab a Goo Gone and remove sticky stuff to your heart’s content.

I’ve always used Goo Gone and I was interested in trying an alternative to see if competing products work as well. I tested it on my EDC pocket knife that had loads of tape gunk from opening multiple Amazon packages. The spray worked well to coat the blade and it worked well to get rid of 90% of the adhesive quickly. The other 10% required a bit of *delicate* elbow grease. Although I like the citrus smell, I’m not sure I want my EDC knives to smell of oranges, especially when it’s in the holster on my hip. I think I’ll stick (haha, pun not intended) with Goo Gone for my knives as it takes less effort to clean the blades so I’m not having to scrub so hard near a razor sharp edge. I’ll use this product for the vehicles to remove tree sap and dead bugs.

This adhesive remover spray does work on automotive surfaces, but it takes some finesse to be effective. I found that I had to saturate a surface for a moment and then repeat the process to completely remove any sticky residues.
I think this adhesive remover works best for removing minor tar or tree sap, but for removing stuff like residue from an old bumper sticker, it takes multiple applications of this product.
