Looks like the original one, and there’s no way it could be any worse than it after 120,000 miles without doing this service. Been on the car for a day and no issues yet. You can be sure though that if something happens and I find filter paper blown out in the oil area, I’ll be updating this to a scathing warning, which I have done years after the fact for other products that should have lasted WAY longer than they did (here’s looking at you, NordicTrak) ..so, as time goes on, consider this review to be a testament to the quality if I don’t come back and retcon all my current happiness with it. =)

So metal screen filter like the OEM. used RTV like the OEM because I don’t intend to remove the pan again good rubber seal not used but may in the future. Original filter from new but there was no problem with the one there. Zero debris.

This fits perfectly and was almost identical to the original. No issues installing on the car and have had no issues running/driving the car since. Will see how it holds up over time.
