This is a good product but it is at least 1 in shorter in each direction then the description states. Not 24×36. More like 23 by 34.5. I could tell as soon as I held it up that it wasn’t going to measure as described. Looks nothing like the one the guy is holding up in the photo.

Okay, I’m not a professional detailer by any means but I am insanely anal about keeping my truck clean. As such, I am always on the lookout for good towels. Surprisingly, good towels are hard to find. They are either too small, don’t actually hold any water, or are made from some crummy material that leaves surface scratches. There are plenty of great towels out there, but I can’t bring myself to pay $50 for a towel when I need 6 to dry my truck properly. I rolled the dice on this because of the large size and holy smokes this thing is incredible. I mean, truly incredible. Hands down this is the BEST towel I own, easily besting at least a dozen others that cost 2-3x as much as this one. It holds an insane amount of water, making drying quick and easy and the material is unlike any other towel I own, with slightly longer fibers that trap water like a champ and also dust, making it perfect for quick detailing. Best of all – NO LINT. Like, for real, NOT LINT! Amazing! I’m buying 12 more of these ASAP and throwing all the other drying towels I have right into the trash. Buy one, and you can thank me later.

It’s so absorbant you can just drag it along leaving a completely dry streak. Best drying towel I’ve ever had and cheaper than other top selling versions like the black line towel.

Cheaper but works as well as any name brand drying towel. Dried my Jeep Gladiator easy. Soft, thick and size is perfect.

I’m in complete shock! Honestly, I thought the 5-star reviews were fake, but this towel really lives up to the hype. Yes, there’s a slight smell when you first open it, but once it airs out, it’s totally fine. I dried my entire SUV in one go with no streaks, no need for extra pressure, and it left zero scratches. Plus, I didn’t have to wring it out even once! Definitely buy with confidence, especially since it’s way cheaper than other similar options. Highly recommend!

These towels are all over social media right now so I was excited to give this one a try. Came with a sort of funky smell out of the bag, and although it says “machine washable”, no instructions about drying or not. So I washed and hung dried, then gave it a go on the car.
And I must say it worked pretty darn well. The first swipe left a few streaks, but it almost seemed like it got better when it got a little bit damp. I was able to dry the whole car in about 2 minutes and didn’t end up with a sopping wet old towel. Also no lint left that I could see. Nice!
The only demerit is the upside of drying with a regular towel is that you can clean any spots that you missed, or give bird gunk or sap a good scrub. I don’t know if you do the same with this – and also since its dark gray its hard to see which is the “dirty side” if you wanted to scrub and then keep drying…

I’ve invested a lot of money on car detailing equipment and accessories, including a plethora of different size and GSM microfiber towels. Microfiber is the only way to go as they are lintless as long as you care for them properly. My biggest microfiber towel I used solely for drying was a 25″ x 35″, similar to this towel, but with a rating of 1120 GSM, which I thought was the bomb! It could basically dry a mid-sized car which had a nice protective coat on it, i.e. one with a nice wax job such that a fair amount of the water would bead and run off the sides of the car to begin with. Then this towel arrived. I weighed it at 1.6 lbs, and a true1312 GSM! ((24×2.54/100) x (36×2.54/100))/(1.6×453.592). This towel worked even better than my favorite towel, very impressive, I’ll tell you what.
A nice touch is the edge of this towel, which doesn’t have any sort of edge seam like my other towel with its black satin edge. Albeit the satin edge has yet to scratch the finish of any vehicle I’ve detailed, but this towel without the edge one step better.
With this sort of towel, you can simply drag it across the surface of your vehicle and it’ll absorb any water in its path. I usually do all the paint of the car, leaving the windows for last. At this point, you can absorb some of the water on the front and rear glass, but it probably won’t really dry them. So what I’ll do is usually pull out a few smaller microfiber towels to wipe down the windows. Like I said, these big towels really excel when your vehicle has a nice protective coat on it and water tends to roll off.
Some care tips: You should always wash your microfiber by themselves, never ever with other items such as cotton towels. The microfiber act as lint magnets. I also use a special soap that is made for microfiber. Dry at low temp and remove promptly. I will usually wipe the inside of my dryer to make sure it’s free of any residue. I would avoid the dryer if you have used those anti-static sheets however, as they leave a film on the inside of the dryer that is bad for microfiber. Or at least really wipe down the drum before attempting to dry your microfiber in it.
