So the part was a good fit but I had to grind off the mounts for the heat shield weld them on to the new part and weld the two pieces together because there was not enough room to use that clamp, and I don’t think it would work on the steel that ends up around the new CC, it’s just too thick. It saved lots of money but you need some basic welding skills to succeed in replacing it.
