This product was a steal, or so I thought compared to what i could get at Advance Auto, saving $70 and including new oil seals. When I was in the middle of the install, I discovered why. It doesn’t include the tensioner. It’s my bad since I didn’t catch it, but it would have been nice to replace it with all the other components. As for the products themselves, they all seem to work fine. I installed it only two weeks ago, so time will tell how they do in the long run. Bottom line for me: $150 and 8 hours labor versus $600 to have someone else do it.
simple –
the parts are of low quality, tensioner assembly does not fit properly (loose with a lot of free play) had to use the old assembly and new idler to it. The timing belt itself suggest to last for only 60k, was told by the company. I am disappointed about the items from this company. I guess that’s why they charge so less. Save yourself the trouble and go with a better quality parts not worth saving extra money for these parts.
