Impressed with this temperature gauge. Easy to connect only because I’ve done others, however it doesn’t come instructions or wiring diagram.

I had no problems adapting this at all to a piece of equipment and it works perfectly, making it look factory was the only issue at all and as anyone knows patience pays off!
Cobra –
Instructions are easy to follow. I checked the temperature with lazier light and they both are very close

Gauge non fonctionnel, même la lumière au LED ne fonctionne pas a l’intérieur, de la vrai cochonnerie

It comes with literally everything you need including a temp sensor and multiple thread adapters. The stock unit by itself threaded right into the water-jacket with no issues. I used a little PTFE tape though you don’t have to. The old sending unit was worn plum smooth out, so it was nice to have the new one, but it didn’t trigger the temp gauge on the dash so I slipped a black hose clamp on the steering column and locked the gauge in place. Tested it against a Flukeâ„¢ temp sensor in the upper radiator hose and temps were almost identical so the gauge is well calibrated. I would trust it and I do since I am running it in the Dart now!

The black face goes with many standard instrument panel backgrounds. This is an essential item if all you have is an idiot light. The pressure readings seem to be accurate as well. Great gauge for the money.

I installed & it worked well once. Noticed you can see the inside of gauge housing that is white, not black as stated. Next time I drove car the gauge didn’t work. Found that sensor was stuffed & you can’t buy an aftermarket sensor, so I returned for refund. Don’t recommend this gauge.

Needed to monitor the transmission oil temperature on a 2008 Nissan Sentra. With a slight modification, the sending unit fits directly into the pressure test port on the transmission. Wiring is simple and the gage is easy to read.

Gauge was too inaccurate to be usable, indicating at least 20 degrees high at my cars normal operating temperature of 185 degrees. It would be well into the red by the time the fan comes on at 195 degrees. The space between the glass and the gauge is too deep. I couldn’t see the top numbers without bending over. The nuts that hold the wires on are very small (7/32 wrench) this makes smaller than normal wire ends necessary (not provided). The led light may be too bright if you drive at night.

Temp sensor it came with broke ratcheting in. Hooked up to autozone temp sensor replacement but read at 90 degrees higher than actual temp. Didn’t know how to calibrate to right temp. Possible user error.
