This is a set of two cabin air filters. They seem well designed with foam and flaps in the right places to help prevent unfiltered air sneaking by. Installation is very easy and they were a nice, snug fit into the filter holder. Pay special attention to the airflow direction and orientation of the filter. To help ensure proper installation, there is a small cutout portion on the perimeter of each filter that goes under a protrusion in the filter holder. (See pic.) If you line that up, you’ve installed the filter properly. Post-installation, airflow is good and fresh.

These filters came wrapped in a double pack, but the 525i uses 2 at once so it works out. They seem nice and well made. The notch on the side fits in well. One point of concern was the foam buffer was short on one of the filters, which may cause a slight gap. The edges are usually covered by a plastic rim though. They’re pretty much the same as the previous air filters I had. The air that comes out feels clean enough, I can’t really tell much of a difference, but there is quite a strong air flow.
