Very hard to install

I wish I’d have paid more attention to the reviews. This part is not compatible with a 2008 Jeep. It fits and electrical connector are the same, but doesn’t have the right resistance. Like other reviewers noted, it started at half temp and almost immediately went to showing overheating and activating the radiator fan. I do not recommend for and Dodge, Ram, Jeep, or Chrysler vehicle.

At time of purchase, the temp sensor claimed it was compatible with my 02 Jeep grand Cherokee, why would I buy it if it wasn’t? Well, after I purchased, it claimed it was no longer compatible. Turns out it is definitely not compatible because my coolant temp gauge is no longer functional. Needless to say I’m kinda pissed, and now must locate one locally so I can regain functionality.
